The Kangaroo Island Wildlife Carnival is the Kangaroo Island Wildlife Network’s biennial awareness raiser. The event is held in the Spring at beautiful Cygnet River on the Sunday of the October long weekend. Each event focuses on a threatened species, to raise awareness of their plight and to give hope of possible solutions to the challenges they face. This year’s Carnival will highlight the Australian Sea Lion.
